the results are IN!

Well hello there.  Since my last post, some of our dire questions have been answered.  Of course in their place we've accumulated more questions about the next few years of our life ( :  Typical.

But on to our exciting news!  After multiple anxiety-inducing interviews with Seattle Children's Hospital, Joe was offered his choice between two separate placements with them!  One was for more of an in-patient setting, and one for more of an outpatient sports setting.  Since he doesn't do it very often, I feel it my obligation to brag about my husband for just a minute.  This is kind of a big deal.  First of all, SCH had to close the application window for the internship early because they had so many applicants.  Second of all, they only offered one spot for the inpatient setting... which we think means that Joe was their top pick overall!  So proud of my amazing husband.

Since his current interest is in pediatric sports rehabilitation, Joe was excited to take the spot in the outpatient sports clinic.  Which means instead of being in the actual hospital, he will be in one of their 4 clinic locations... Bellevue, Federal Way, Mill Creek, or downtown Seattle.  We're still waiting to hear where he'll be.

So.  Recap.  August-December 2013: Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho.

January-March 2014: Guilds' School and Neuromuscular Center in Spokane, WA.

April-June 2014: Seattle Children's Hospital.

We're DONE choosing internships and couldn't be happier with how everything worked out!
